With SpeedBox, you won’t be limited to the speed of 25 km/h anymore. You can freely enjoy the maximum power of your electric bike, limited only by your pedalling frequency.

For the older types of e-bikes with Shimano motor, our original tuning chip SpeedBox 1.0 for Shimano E6000 remains on sale.

SpeedBox 1.2 for Shimano (E8000, E7000, E6100, E5000) and SpeedBox 1.3 for Shimano (EP8) are successors to the original tuning chips, which have been redesigned from the ground up. These chips completely eliminate the speed limit of 25 km/h. When in use, the display shows the actual speed up to 23 km/h.

You can already choose between the “Standard” and “+E-Tube port” variant. The “+E-Tube port” variant is thus intended for Shimano motors, which have all E-Tube ports occupied – usually E-bikes with a Di2 shifting system, with a tube integrated Satellite System On/Off Switch (EW-SW100, EW-SW300) or with motor E5000.

How does SpeedBox 1.2 work?

This tuning chip can also be easily controlled with a LIGHT button. If the lights are turned off, SpeedBox is activated. The chip can be deactivated by turning on the lights. If you want to use tuning independently of the lights, do not connect the red wire during installation, like that the tuning will be always activated. If you do not have lights on your e-bike, SpeedBox 1.2 will also be activated at all times.

Assembly

We use original connectors for the production of SpeedBox chips ensuring that the installation process is very simple and the chip is connected properly. We have also prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of the tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
